Email Bike Fits

AAA Tri Camp now offers Bike Fits via Email for only $30. All you need to do is send a photo of yourself  on your bike to john@aaatricamp.com  We will then do the Bike Fit using our Software, write up a report as per below including the angels on your photo and comments & recommendations. We will also send you your invoice so you can pay us for this great trusting service. For the photo please follow these simple guidelines:

  • Wear Bike Pants or Swim Bathers (so we can see your body position better)
  • Set yourself up on a trainer or leaning against a wall with the camera at right angles to your bike (see below)
  • If you are a Triathlete & spend more the 50% of your Tri Race on the Aero Bars-be in that position
  • Pedal while the person who will be taking the photo observes your heel position at the bottom
  • Place your closest foot to the camera at the 6 O'clock position, with your heel at the same height as observed above (see below)
  • Compress the photo to about 200 k and send it to john@aaatricamp.com with your:
    • Name
    • Sex
    • Age
    • Years racing or Riding

 

In Person Bike Fits

AAA Tri Camp users a state of the art High Speed Camera to capture your pedaling mechanics & position, then the video is uploaded to software that can detect 0.1 of a degree, you are then adjusted to your perfect position giving you a perfect bike fit. See below for an example. This process takes 1-2 hours (depending on how much modifications we must do to your bike) and costs $90.
